Cheap The Long Call

Miniseries starring Ben Aldridge as DI Matthew Venn based on the novel by Ann Cleeves. Following the death of his father Matthew Venn returns to the remote island where he grew up to be at the funeral. However, the commune his father belonged to has strict rules about mourning and Matthew’s return is not met with total acceptance from some of the community. Meanwhile, when a body washes up on the beach with a letter attached to it, Matthew and his team begin a murder investigation.
